Rep. Roman Kozak is serving his first term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives with intent to serve the constituents of the Commonwealth and 14th District with respect, transparency, accountability and integrity.

As the grandson of four World War II Nazi labor camp survivors, his family history and upbringing ingrained in him the values that made the United States the greatest country in the world. He was taught to value and cherish the freedom and incredible opportunity this country gave his family. At the heart of these values are his Christian faith and conservative principles of government.

Roman is committed to lowering taxes, cutting regulations, reforming Pennsylvania’s permitting process, expanding educational opportunities for students, supporting our first responders and farmers, and creating an economic environment that will allow industry to thrive.

Roman is a graduate of Bethel Park High School and Geneva College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science. After school, Roman worked in the transportation and trucking industry, handling logistics for steel, concrete, brick and dairy manufacturing clients. He then served as a legislative aide to former PA State Rep. Jim Christiana, before becoming a world history teacher at the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School. He and his wife also own a small business.

Roman is also very active in the community. He served as a member of the Beaver Falls Planning Commission, chairman of the Republican Committee of Beaver County and a founding board member of the Beaver Falls Community Development Corporation. Kozak has also coached youth baseball, basketball and soccer in the county.

In his free time, Roman enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, and their four boys. He’s also an avid guitarist; golfer; soccer and hockey player; and reader of political philosophy, history and theology. In addition, he currently ranks as a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
